I was just at one of my local antique malls and saw a Griswald waffle iron that had the steel coil handles, but didn't have a base. They were asking $50. I passed it by becoming I didn't think it was worth that with the base. It needed cleaning and rust removal. Should I go back for it? Thanks
Picked this waffle up with a Wagner 1892 at auction a couple days ago and was wondering if someone could shed some light on the W M C Co piece ? I've read that there is a possible connection to early Griswold ? I've seen several gas irons and other cast iron pieces by the company. Haven't found...

Hey there everyone, I have stumbled upon this forum in search of knowledge on my newly picked waffle iron. I have never seen this piece before and I have asked many CI Facebook groups and only 2 people say they have one but have no knowledge. I saw a post on this piece in 2016 on this forum...
I finally got a cast iron waffle iron! I’m so excited! I don’t really know much about the Stover one and found very little web information. Wondered if anyone here had any. Also any tips for cleaning and restoring those wood handles? Thanks.

I have a set of paddles for a Wardway waffle iron but do not have a base. Since Wardway was produced by Wagner, I suspect a Wagner base would be appropriate. Is there a cross reference for bases similar to the Griswold information that is on this site? I would prefer to locate a high base...
