3 notch

I believe I have a #5 3 notch Lodge but it has a raised number on the underside of the handle.

Normal?

Its rough and in need of cleaning but any idea on a maker?

A little hard to tell from the pics, but I'd say a # 5 Three notch Lodge from 1940 to late '40s.

The raised B on the underside of the handle doesn't fit with Lodge, even if the rest of it does. Once cleaned up, it may or may not be more evident that a Lodge pan was used as a pattern by some unknown someone else.

Possibly. It's hard to tell from the photo of the bottom if there's a sprue mark.
