# 4 Skillet - Unsure of Maker

I picked this skillet up at an estate sale for $5. I thought it was a size number 4 but couldn’t really see the number four on the back of the skillet because of the buildup of grease from years of use. After cleaning in a lye tank the number four became visible along with a crack on the sidewall. I thought the handle design was unusual too (near the base, rather broad). The last pic shows the crack. Any ideas of who made and how old the skillet is? Is it another Southern Mystery Skillet made in a small foundry? Any help appreciated.
Thanks
