#8 Wapak with Casting Flaw

A dealer I know has had this for a while, and since I had some extra cash, and they don't seem to be getting any cheaper, I decided to get it. Aside from the casting flaw, it's pretty much perfect. I read that flaws were not that uncommon with these, and it does sit flat, so out the door it went.

I think every Wapak Ive ever seen has an issue or 4...lol...I like that fact, as no 2 are the same. It wont affect the price I wouldnt think. I collect Wapaks. Thats a very nice condition one for sure.

First one of these I've been able to handle. He had at least one of the other type that had a ghost mark. Not sure how the flaw effects the value, but I sure didn't get a discount!

The skillet is actually in very good condition , Ive seen worse ones that sold for an upper price. In my mind, if you paid under 4 for it, you did really good. Thats just my 2 cents I guess.

Normally mine too, but I had sold some other stuff, and figured what the heck. That seems to be about what these are going for in legitimate auctions.

I have no room to talk though. I've purchased a few expensive things because I wanted them and had the money.

Indian Head skillets are on the rise in price. I have a #10, paid 320 for it. Probably could get 600 out of it now. Its really nice shape too.
