I’m new to these message boards so if I’m not posting this in the right place I apologize! I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on the age of this COUSANCES DOUFEU I was recently gifted. It came from my wife’s aunt who got it for about 20.00 at a flea market in the Chicago area. It looks like it’s never been used. I know Le Creuset makes a Cousances line—or based on—but I thought they were stamped Le Creuset.
The markings on this one:
DOUFEU over COUSANCES (EXTERIOR LID)
16 MADE IN FRANCE / INT. PATENT (INTERIOR LID)
In a circle COUSANCES over MADE IN FRACE with 16 in the middle (BOTTOM OF THE POT)
