BSR Chef Skillet..???

I saw an interesting chef skillet in a neighboring town yesterday . Sorry I didn't take pic, but marking at 6 o'clock was 10 CHEF , maybe a dash in between, but definatley had ridge on underside of handle like BSR, and solid heat ring.
If anyone knows anything about a possible BSR chef skillet, that'd be awesome....and if I'm there again soon will snap pic & post.

Yes, BSR. These are often seen just marked Made In USA, which to most CI aficionados signifies made after 1960. This one falls in a grey area, as BSR descriptive markings, e.g. "SKILLET" are typically seen on the post-1960 pieces. The BSR CBS cornbread skillets do not say Made In USA, but they are said to have been first produced in 1967, so maybe BSR was using paper labels to certify country of origin in some cases.

Thanks Doug! Post '60 sounds right, as cooking surface apparently not finished as my Red Mountain stuff. But a great find and user I say, and maybe some more BSR chef's will surfac .

Thanks for sharing. I haven't seen one of these yet, but I'm probably in the best place I could be for a chance to find one. I'll have to add that to my wish list.
