Can anyone tell me anything about this pan?

I found this old pan in an antique store in Mississippi. It is 12" across and 4 " deep small faint V mark on the bottom and 5 notches on the bottom edge close to the handle. I have searched the net for some time now and have come up empty handed as to what it is and from when. I have had guesses that it's from the 1800's but that's about it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm guessing pre-1900s also. I find the notches in the side cool. After a amazing meal they put a notch like a gunslinger? Lol

The only thing I have found similar are early 1800's spider pans but this has no feet and doesn't look like it ever did.
