Gate marked griddle just for fun

I usually don't buy obviously fire damaged pieces, but I made an exception for this old griddle. It was a lot of work, but it looks a lot better and will make a good display piece. I'm not finished, the underside still needs some work, but I probably won't get back to it until spring. It will probably make more than a few toasted cheese sandwiches by then.

Looks like a user to me. The fire damage doesnt do too much to it I dont think. Just makes it worth a lot less.

Yep, a user for sure. I hang my "cool" users on a rack in the kitchen/dining area so they are visible and handy to grab when wanted. This one is hanging in a prominent spot along with its younger cousins.
