Griswold Griswold Aluminum Maslin Kettle 8 Quart A-458

Went back an got it since it was quite inexpensive. NOT the same as the one on Red Book page 155. Is this as uncommon? It will likely be years before I find an A458C lid for it.

Came with a strainer/double boiler/deep fryer/thing that fits it perfectly. So that's a plus I guess.

I like that pot. Did it come with a cover because the cast iron Maslin Kettles did not but they were also of a different shape.

Apparently, yes, A458C. At least that's what's listed as the cover for it in the list of Griswold pattern numbers in the Red Book. Don't know if they were sold together or if it was bought separately. Unfortunately, mine doesn't have one and I suspect I could search years.
