"HOTEL" skillet?

Has anyone heard of the brand name shown on this cast iron skillet - "HOTEL"? Does not seem to be very good quality - very gritty feeling.

My guess would be Oriental import.

I agree. I just thought I would be able to find some mention of the brand on the internet and maybe a reason why they used that name. No luck finding either.

I would say Import too. How big is it? Looks like a #8 or so. They made hotel skillets, but those are #20s I think?
