How to clean and season vintage Cast Iron

I just recently picked up Griswold skillet and wanted to see about cleaning and reseasoning it
What would be the best way to clean it? A lye bath or Easy Off?.

If you're just cleaning one pan, The Heavy Duty Easy Off will do the job. Be aware that the scent free oven cleaners are not made of lye.
