Kettle Identification

I found a nice old cast iron kettle at a yard sale last week. It is 10" round and 6 1/2" deep with a flat bottom. The only identification mark is a star in the center of the bottom which is about 3/4" across. Can anyone help me with identifying the manufacturer? Thanks

Photos from PhotoBucket. I have not previously seen the "Star" stamp or the unique bail attachment.

There are lids with the same star that appear to go with these, and which look quite a bit like Lodge. They do not have the typical Lodge basting spikes, though. The bail attachment is not all that unique for this type of kettle, which I would date not-too-early to mid-20th century.

I know that Wagner made some stuff with a "star" stamp and if I remember correctly someone else did, too, but I don't know who that was or if it was ever identified who it was. No idea who made your kettle.
