Need Help Identifying Unmarked Pan

Can anyone please help identify this pan (company/date of manufacture/quality/value)?

I have attached pictures.

Distinguishing attributes - a number 8 printed on the top side of the handle, extremely heavy (rivals a lodge of same size), no markings underneath, hammered design around the side of the pan.

Any help would be appreciated.

Based on the pictures I can't shake the feeling that this is a modern casting of poor quality, most likely foreign. More pictures would help, especially the bottom and complete handle.

These always struck me as some unknown maker trying to quickly and cheaply cash in on the popularity of hammered CI, which would have been 1930s-40s. The handles are a bit reminiscent of those of a Canadian maker, but I have no way of making any real connection. And the lids being so crude don' t really support that, either.
