Old Oval Griddle Help Identifying

Just found this old griddle and can't find anything on it. It has a "B" on one end near a handle and an "8" by the other handle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are a few pics........All the best, Dave

I never saw this handle I dont think. Its pretty cool! Sorry Im of no help.
