question about crack or casting irregularity in Wapak

I have a question about the bottom of this Wapak arc logo #9. Is this a casting flaw or a crack? I know Wapak’s are famous for casting irregularities like in this Wapak Indian head thread but I can put my nail in the deepest part of this line. However, the line doesn’t go up the sidewall. Mostly, I’d like to know if it’s safe to cook with or should it be display only?

Not a crack. Usage should not impact.

If it doesnt leak when filled with water youll be fine....nice skillet by the way.

If it's a crack, you should see it on the inside also.

Thanks! The pan holds water and I don't see that line on the inside. Just some pitting.
I'm applying round 1 of seasoning right now
