Unmarked smooth bottom, No. 8 pan

I went through the Identifying Unmarked Iron page, but didn't find anything to identify this pan - or read it and didn't get it. It doesn't seem to be a high quality item, a few pin holes on the inside, exterior roughness, poor grinding

And yet it's been machined. I'm hoping the "dot" under the 8 and the handle shape might indicate something. And to my eye, those are larger spouts so maybe pre DISA?

thanks for looking,

Only known as "pointy handle" skillets. Sometimes there is an underline or a V under the size number. There are hammered finish pans with similar handles, but it is unclear if they are connected; they also are completely unmarked.

I was wondering if there was a technical term for the handle. I like "pointy handles"! It's descriptive and easy to remember.

thank you
