I'd initially been calling this a Lard Ladle but looking the the Red Book Page 98 but I see is a Lard Spade.

I probably could have started with 350 grit on the top of the space and handle for some of the deeper scratch but I think I'll leave it alone as it really came out quite nicely. Now that I've got one under my belt, I'm going to go after that Wagner Ware aluminum Krispy Korn pan and the Arc/Straight #3 Oval Casserole as well as my Griswold 8 Quart Maslin Kettle. I'll probably get the the Magnalite 2 and 3 quart sauce pans available locally for very cheap as well as a hammer Griswold 3 quart sauce pan. Would only do this method to the originally polished, non-hammered parts.
