Wagner Wafer maker, square, 1892, cornucopia pattern, high base. Any info on value?

Better known and sold as the EZ Ice Cream Cone Baker. Don't see them very often, like never. The last book to put a value on one was published over a decade ago and in dire need of updating then; given value $300 at the time. Prices have "fluctuated" since then. If it had the originally supplied wooden cone roller, that would be a plus. The 1892 patent is likely for the ball hinge, not the decorative design. Supposedly sold ca. 1920, it does not appear in the 1924 or 1927 catalogs. Newspaper ads place them at least as early as 1910.

Thanks for the Ads,,,I can only imagine what todays prices on something like this. Dutch Oven for $1.25 sounds like a good deal!

Several inflation calculators put $1.25 in 1920 at approximately $20 today. Yep, that would have been a good deal.

The ad is from 1910, so more like $41 today.
