Round griddles?

Would like to find a round griddle for making omelettes (yes, pancakes, too). I've seen some units, higher priced than I remember. Saw an #8 and #9 Griswold, both high priced and both warped. In griddles, how many sizes did most companies make; most times I prefer Wagners? Are most griddles you see warped?

Tell me what you see in the market concerning round griddles. thanks

There are two styles of round griddles, vintage ones, anyway. Differences between brands were insignificant. The "old" style is just a very shallow skillet; the "new" style is the one where the rim raises the bottom slightly and the cooking surface is nearly flush with the top. The former would be fine for omelettes, but the "new" would prove difficult if not impossible to corral the eggs before they set. The "new" would be superior for pancakes, as it allows for (relatively) easier spatula access for flipping. I have a few "new" style griddles; none are warped.

If this works correctly, discussion on skillets, griddles and omelets.

Reviewing the linked thread, I see that this thread is essentially a duplicate. Is there a reason I'm missing that your thread from last year needed repeating?

I had a DUMB idead just now. Has anyone ever flipped a gridle over and cook on the logo side? Its deeper on the logo side, but I dont know..........anyone tried this?
