Griswold No.3
2003 in hammered finish.

Greatings to all and thank you for accepting my request to join your forum.
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this particular piece, regarding rarity and/or replacement value.
I've exhausted all other on line resources looking for an exact match and have come up empty.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all ahead of time.1000000071.png1000000069.png

Griswold pans with the "small block logo" are from the period 1939 - 1957. Their hammered finish ware was produced primarily in the 1940s, but may have extended into the 1950s. The BB pg. 32 shows a few examples, although one point of confusion is the #3 skillet shown has the p/n 2013, which is for the hinged version. The photo crops out the hinge, and an accompanying photo with an alternate view, obviously lacking a hinge, must certainly be a 2003. Since the time period they were produced was relatively short, together with their desirability as collectibles, they don't turn up for sale too often anymore.

Seems kinda rare to me. Its a great little skillet, looks good too. I like hammered sometimes.
