I just recently acquired this cauldron and I can't find any info on when it was made. It says "Savery & Co Philadelphia" on one side (under the handle) and says "6G" under the other handle. It measures 14" across the opening. It appears as though there is a gate mark on the bottom...
I found this cauldron at an estate sale - it was being used as a planter for artificial flowers, although it was filled with dirt. As can be seen in the pics, it is quite rusty - I knocked off most of the large pieces with a wire brush, still trying figure out how to get the heavy stuff off...
