I believe the vertical ears mean it's relatively old, and I have found some matching photos from Australia, but no help on The foundry.

Most would call this a Lodge, part of their Country Hollow Ware grouping, from the early 1900s-1940s.

Depending on where the crack is, it would be a great DO for camping, cooking with coals, and fire. I would use it if at all possible. Im assuming its pretty big?

Crack on side, and yes it's big. 14" inside diameter, 5-1/2 deep.
Biscuits, etc prob work good.

Would cooking beans or chili leak? Very thin crack when cold.

I don't have a 14" lid, they are uncommon..
