I am seeing a number 14 small logo griswold and wondering what we be a decent price to pay for it .

I know going to get some crazy numbers .

I am actually seeing two online one is thru the roof.

Other seems moderate.

Any assistance would be great .

Don't look at asking prices. eBay "sold" prices are about the only measure these days, and even they can be misleading. Further, if more than just one or two of the item haven't sold recently, that makes the sample unreliable as well.

I am seeing 1 online for 700.00 in good shape . Haven’t had chance to see it . Everything on fb is far away for the good prices .

Is anywhere else to look like eBay? Kinda don’t like sight unseen for wobbles and cracks. I’m sure no one would pull a fast one in cast iron.

With eBay, you have to ask all the "CYA" questions via eBay messages to the seller, in order to document if what you receive isn't what's described. Is it warped, cracked, pitted? Does it sit flat on a known level surface? Ask specific questions; don't accept vague answers. That was always my method, and I never paid for a pan that wasn't what the seller said it was.

I have a Wapak #14, and Im not going to lie, I paid 400. Im sure now I could get my money back plus some, but I think ill keep her. Big skillets cost big bucks usually. A LBL Griswold #14 would be in the 800 to 1000 range on Ebay. Hope you end up with it....big skillets are used a LOT more than small ones here. A #10 and up is all I use basically. Oh, and Esty sells CI I think.
