18" Wagner Frying pan

My son just found this pan in a thrift store. It is about 18" wide (his wallet is 4 1/2" wide for perspective). I have never seen one like this but I am relatively new to cast iron cookware.

He did buy it. Want to know if any one has any information about it. Will see it personally on Monday.

He has a few Wagners. He will be back on Sunday or early Monday. I am anxious to see it too.

Still have not seen it in hand but he took a camera photo. It has had a repair on the heat ring. You can see the Wagner logo but the number at the bottom is not clear.

More info tomorrow night or Monday morning.

I also suspect that he measured across the top.

I would suspect a #14. The repair really puts a damper on value. If he paid a user price, it will still be a good one (user).

$30, could not see where we could go wrong.

Turned out to be a 14" pan. Kind of like fish that got away, they just get bigger and bigger.
