2 burner restoration questions

I'm eyeing this 2 burner gas stove on craigslist.

I know some of you have done restorations on these types of burners recently. Can you walk me through the general steps? I assume the rust removal and stripping is relatively the same as it would be for hollow ware. But, the seasoning process has to be different, I think, because oils would just burn off. Anyway, I don't know if I'm going to pull the trigger or not, but I'm intrigued.

These would have been painted or japanned, not seasoned. High temp barbecue grill or engine block paint is what most use. Black, either gloss or satin for the frame, sometimes silver for the burners and attachments.
 
OK, that makes sense. I think I can puzzle my way through the rest of it, but if there are any more tips or things you wish you knew before taking one on, let me know. Thanks!
