200 Years Old? 400 Years Old? What is this skillet and how old might it be?

This skillet was passed down to me by my Great Aunt from Maryland's Lower Eastern Shore. I was told that when it was given to her in the early 1900's that "it was already VERY old." It has no markings whatsoever. Her (our) ancestors came to Maryland from England in the mid-1600's. Is it crazy to think it could be that old?

More like 1960s, actually. All characteristics point to Birmingham Stove & Range Co. after they began using automated molding machinery. There should be some markings under the crud inside the heat ring at the handle position.

Yeah I would say its kinda old, but not that old. Still its a nice user, and it has a story with it, thats what is priceless!
