3 Notch Lodge Markings

I've seen quite a few 3 notch lodge pans, but after stripping this one it seems like it has more than would be necessary for marking a pattern or shift or whatever... and they look cast in... any ideas why this pan has so many marks?

'SO' 'LU' '3W' above the size at 12 oclock and
'E' '11' 'A' at 6 oclock with a 'B' above that.

It looks to me that the notches are in the wrong position i.e. at 12, 3 and 5:30 o'clock (vs. 9, 12 and 3)... maybe not a Lodge?

no, the heat ring at the 9 oclock notch is worn down to the point where the notch is less noticeable... and the area at 5:30 is more of a chip in the heat ring... not an actual notch.
