The weather here was beautiful yesterday so I took a 300 mile road trip. It was pretty good hunting. Some things I’ll keep and some I will restore and sell to support my addiction.

You can see them here.

First picture is the only one with a description. The rest are self explanatory.
Bottom row left to right: three notch Lodge #8, two single notch Lodge #3s’ (one backward 3 and one correct 3), BSR #2 sauce pan lid
Middle row left to right: Lodge single notch #8, BSR Red Mountain #8 S, unidentified #10 tab handled dome lid, Wagner #10 DO with unidentified camp stove lid
Top row: #10 BSR 3 legged camp skillet, Griswold 3 legged camp oven.

I would appreciate any help you guys can give me with the following questions.
1. Who is the maker of the #10 tab handle dome lid? It has a steam ring that goes out over the ears.
2. Wagner #10 DO has no pn but doesn’t look old enough to be pre 1924. What would be the correct lid for that piece?
3. Who made the camp stove lid? It has four placement lugs on the inside and the loop handle is not round, it has six flat sides where it meets the lid. It fits the Griswold camp stove very well.
4. The Griswold camp stove is a pn 310 and it is listed in the RB and the BB. What would be the pn for the correct lid?

Thanks in advance.

Happy hunting.

Jack

1. Who is the maker of the #10 tab handle dome lid? It has a steam ring that goes out over the ears. Looks like a Griswold lid used as basis for a pattern. And no skills to make a loop handle.
2. Wagner #10 DO has no pn but doesn’t look old enough to be pre 1924. What would be the correct lid for that piece? That's a late piece, post acquisition. Stylized logos made in Sidney should say Sidney -O-.
3. Who made the camp stove lid? It has four placement lugs on the inside and the loop handle is not round, it has six flat sides where it meets the lid. It fits the Griswold camp stove very well. I would guess it goes with the Griswold, then. The font on the 10 is certainly Griswold.
4. The Griswold camp stove is a pn 310 and it is listed in the RB and the BB. What would be the pn for the correct lid? Not sure.

Thank you Doug.

This is the first time I noticed the small lugs on a lid. Is that common on Griswold lids?

BTW, the lid was purchased with the Wagner in a different town from a different vendor than the Griswold pot. Did I really get that lucky?

Nice haul Jack. I have that same #10 tab handle lid. It's a very smooth casting. I guess the verdict is still out on who made it. Thanks for posting the eye candy.

Don't know what you spent on gas but I will buy you a tank and give you a $100 and you bring to me what you bought yesterday.
Good catch....Tell ya what...Just send me a map of where your honey hole is and I help myself to some of that.

Michael,
Go South On 59. when you see the guy on a tractor turn right. Just before you run out of gas ask the lady in a cotton dress if there are any resale shops around. Never know, you just might get lucky:)

BTW, the lid was purchased with the Wagner in a different town from a different vendor than the Griswold pot. Did I really get that lucky? The BB pg. 64 indicates a similar oven lid should have a slant logo on the underside, so perhaps yours is another Wagner modified Griswold pattern.

Very nice finds there. Lots of good keepers for sure. I bet they've cooked up some good eats too. Oh, if they could only talk.
