Any idea of a maker? Interesting how the handle was not fully opened.

If I had bought that brand new, I probably would have filed the opening and ruined its value many years later as an antique.

I would say its just a flaw. Check out a few Wapaks, they have flaws like this. As for the maker, im no help. Theres a spot on here about fancy handle skillets I think. Try that. I would say its old too.....Im on the hunt for a Wapak shallow skillet myself.

No, I would never take a file to it. As far as calling it a skillet, it's really a griddle but it just comes out of my mouth skillet.
