This skillet belonged to my wife's grandparents, which they purchased 50+ years ago, she said........ She uses it today.
The skillet is 10-1/2" wide across the top, with the stamp "? inch skillet" on the bottom, with the stamp "TAIWAT" below that on the bottom.
I figure the "TAIWAT" was a misspell for "TAIWAN"? This misspell may indicate how old it is, as by now the Chinese may have corrected the spelling, maybe not.
The skillet is very light, and very thin. No cracks, chips, etc.
The quality back then in China may have far surpassed the trash coming out of that place these days.
I haven't finished cleaning the skillet yet, so maybe that is "10 inch skillet" stamped on the bottom.
Any help identifying this skillet is appreciated, or any value thereof.
Thanks again.
