8 DO W/trivet ID Help

I picked up this Dutch oven with trivet tonight because I had to take it with the 6 griswold Dutch oven I bought. It's in overall good shape but it does have slight movement on flat surface due to the shiny little bulge on the bottom, oh well it's not really the piece I was after. It looks Lodge to me but I'm not quite sure. The bail handle attachments look Lodge to me and so does the 8 on the bottom, but the lid has me a little baffled, the basters look Lodge, however don't they usually have the size number in there too? And also the handle on top doesn't look Lodge, is the lid and DO mismatched? Not Lodge at all? Also it came with the trivet, never seen a trivet marked this way before it has an 8 on one tab, and a 9 on another, anyone know who made this trivet?

The lid is very old lodge as is the pan. Cant tell you anything about the trivet. I find trivets occasionally and use then in whatever they fit.

If it sits flat, that's an excellent find.

Unfortunately it doesn't sit perfectly flat, it does have a little movement on a completely flat surface. When you say old, how old are you meaning?

from the 'unmarked' page here on this site it looks like two letter identifiers were added in the 1950's... so this would be before that... 40's - early 50's

I had that same trivet many years ago. Then I assumed it was a Lodge due to the number style. I also assumed it fit a No. 8 or No. 9 DO.
