I ended up with 6 or 7 pieces... these weren't too bad so they got cleaned up first. I got one of the old sportsman grills... that ones going to take some time... very rusty... but other than the bail seems to be complete and no cracks (yet).

the lid didn't come with it... it was one I've had sitting around (looking for an old #7 dutch oven to pair it with... but it fits and is close to the right time period.)

I have an erie rimmed pot (like the one on page 74 of the blue book), with the Mar 1891 patent date that will be next.

then the sportsman. also bought a 3 notch #14 lodge... cooking surface is smooth, but the poor thing has been abused, probably trying to heat it up on too small of a burner... has a warp to it.

yeah... and it comes up from the side of the pan a couple of inches and then flattens out. This is a pic from a different auction several months ago... at the very top you can see a similar single spout pan with the same handle, rim and spout... this one was marked as a w.c. davis pan.. I think they are very similar.

I wanted to buy the marked pan at the other auction... but so did other people.

wow!

wonder when that was done?

mine was all cruded up on the bottom... I was hoping for some markings... I could tell there was some pitting...
