Any help as this seems like an odd find??

Recently found this unmarked pan. Odd to see a rim on the upper skillet wall. Never seem anything like this before and am wondering what it might be. Not super heavy. Rim to rim aprx 10".

It's the cover for a double skillet set, likely Vollrath by the design of the handle.
