Any ideas on this skillet?

I found this skillet before it was thrown out with the city recycling.
It has a “C” or “0” on the backside of the handle and a complete heat ring. If anyone has any ideas on the brand or foundry that made this please let me know thanks. Yes I’m planning on refurbishing it.

From what can be seen, it appears to be an unmarked Wagner deep skillet/chicken fryer, originally sold as a set with lid.
