Hey everyone, I recently found a griswold#9 dutch oven at a dump near my house, I haven't found one online that is the same yet so I was wondering of anyone knew more about it, on the inside of the lid it says 9 Griswold ERIE 2552 .

2552 is the pattern number used across different time periods. If you can give us a pic we can help with the date or you can look it up here

I'll try to get a picture later today when I'm done with classes, unfortunatly I noticed when I was cleaning whatever the previous wierd left caked on it that there is a crack on one side tjat goes dowb about half way... at least that hopefully won't get in the way of me useing it for everything but it is disappointing to say the least.....
