Anyone have info on Nuydea?

I just picked up a 10 inch Nuydea spider web style lid for 4 bucks in a church basement sale(!), not unlike this one:

I found that they were a British company in the 1880's, but found very, very little info online. Does anyone have any info on the company? I'm curious.

I know they made decorative lawn sprinklers also. Here is a link to one of the sprinklers that looks like a duck. I hear some of those are really pricey. I like the spider lid chicken fryer. Thanks for posting the link.

Its currently soaking in lye. I'll post pictures once mine is seasoned up. Its such a pretty piece, and will fit number 8 pots and pans.

Wow, Bonnie! I just took a look at the duck sprinkler. In my humble opinion, that's a piece of sculpture! Not surprised it sold for over $300.

Am also happy to see the "spider" lid--good to know it's a fit for other pans. I've never heard of that company before.
