Aquired Another New Skillet

Recently I found another old cast iron skillet that spent a lot of time in my wifes mothers attic. Belonged to her dad before he past away. After giving it a good cleaning the only identifying markings were "8 skillet Taiwan". The inside of it looks like a vinyl record...spiral grooves covering the bottom. I seasoned it but it just feels like those grooves make this thing useless. Like food can easily grab onto it ruin whatever im cooking. Anyone else have this type pan? What can it be used for?..im guessing not eggs! lol ...worth keeping?

I had one. It worked well for eggs. I didn't have any issues with anything sticking (that I didn't mess up). I don't have it anymore. I gave it to a friend of mine. It was an 8" skillet (#5), and I had 3 at the time, and she wanted one.
