Found this cast tub in the attic of an old farm house. Has anyone ever seen one like this? there is absolutely no markings, numbers, letters, etc on it.
Im assuming it was not intended to cook in because there are legs on the bottom and no flat surface to sit on a stove. thanks in advance

Could have been for laundry or a ham boiler. I could see where it may have been able to be fitted into the same type of stove eye arrangement as a sad iron heater.

Yes I would agree on that
