Beautiful DO lid

More than one maker did the "beehive" lids. O'Brien & O'Brien, Crescent, and Nuydea (New Idea). This one some call a "spider web".
 
Donna, have never seen one with this mark before, but is indeed a beauty. Could you perhaps deal on the price? It may have been marked up due to looks, not what the profit margin on it would demand. I'd be very attracted to it to (depending on condition of course) but price would be too high for me. Again, your location controlls prices to some extent. Really, a lower offer might do the trick. It's at an antique mall and sometimes there's no dealing. I'll check the next time I'm there, though. (Love that lid!)
