Show your before and after success stories, I'll start.
Got a bottom for my #8 Griswold TTDO Slant logo finally, thanks Doug and Steve for helping me choose a pot for my lid. Scored this one on Ebay for $16 bucks. Lets see how it comes out..

If you look close at the sides of the pan it has some pitted rings, unfortunately there isn't a way to remove those. Still pretty happy with the piece.

Dave, you are brave to have started with such a rough pot. It came out much better than I would have expected it to.

After taking a close look at it, it seemed like most of the build up was on top of a layer of food. So I took a chance that I could remove that and get a good pot underneath. It was worth a shot, certainly no gem but it is very flat and I think I can season my way through the pitting. Still would like to get my hands on a cleaner one.
