Box Lot

I see this box lot is coming up for sale at auction at the end of the week. looking at the two CI pans, do they look like they are anything special? I am thinking the larger one would be a #3 egg skillet, the other an ash tray- but if I knew what I was doing I would not have to ask for help.

Not really enough to go on. Bottoms of skillets tell more than tops about their provenance.

I think you are right about the #3 and the smaller one is a #0 as there are no cig rests. High probability nothing special.

Ok I just got back from the auction and got out bid on the box lot. One pan was a new #3 Lodge the smaller was a nice advertising piece looked to be from the 1920's maybe 30's. So I had to settle for the waffle iron, looks like it should be a good one. Going to start researching the name later tonight. Will post better pictures later.

To save you some time on your research you can go to a thread by Jeffrey R started 3-21-2016 in the "Show and Tell" segment where he posted his findings while researching a tea pot by Goewey.
