More precisely, one's mold was created from pattern T, and the other's from pattern C. Value is also dependent, beyond condition, upon in what era of Griswold manufacture your pans were produced.

I think it said that in the early 60's the US made a law that all imports had to be marked with the country of origin. At that time many US companies voluntarily got on board and started marking their goods "Made in the USA" for marketing purposes.
