BSR Century lid with no handle

Hello, I have what looks to be a BSR Century lid for an 8" skillet or oven but it has no handle. Maybe a recast? Maybe it is not a BSR? You can see what looks like a crack on both sides. It is not a crack. Thank you!

I would assume BSR wouldn't have let a cover with casting flaws out of the foundry let alone one with no handle. 1960s or later BSR covers have dimples in a radial pattern, but more dense than this one. Maybe made from some unknown import cover that originally had a knob handle, perhaps explaining why no artifacts of a cast handle?
