The local seller I found on Craigslist is liquidating a collection of cast iron his late father had as an antique dealer. I also picked out this BSR No. 11, 11 1/4 in. breakfast griddle, a 1970s model and it has the mold number 49H-2 according to this source: http://www.modemac.com/cgi-bin/wiki.pl/Birmingham_Stove_and_Range It cleaned up well and I tried it out making some pancakes. Gooood pancakes!!!!

I don't think at this point in time I would give up my vintage collection, but I have a couple of modern pieces of Lodge, a 8SK skillet and a 90G breakfast griddle that I bought recently that I might give to him when he graduates from college.
