Can anyone tell me the era of this spider skillet?

Looking for something 18th century this is the only photos I have. Can anyone tell me a guess as to age? No markings I can see. Thanks

Unfortunately, we don't have more pictures including one of the entire handle.

There's no way to identify who made it and I can only speculate that it's probably from the 1800s. By the early 1900s, the legs had been removed from skillets (I think).

Doug is the man to ask but he'll say the same thing. We need a picture of the bottom and the handle. And then our guesses are only that.
 
Hard to get a sense of scale from the photo, but it looks more like a camp skillet that's lost its cover. If bottom-gated, it would still be pretty old for one, late 1800s, probably. The pitting on the handle as well as the inside makes me think it was outside a long time, probably used as a planter. Looks like the tag says $75, but IMO looks too pitted to be worth anywhere near that much.
