I really like the BSR Sportsman Grill. It's in great shape. Just covered in ashes.

Forgot about this one. Early Lodge?

I use a Lodge No.8 just like that one several times a week. It has, in my opinion, the perfect balance of thickness and and weight for good heating properties without being to heavy. Good finds.

I feel lucky to find one or two decent pans. The grill is bigger than I thought. I need to test it out.

I like the old Lodge pans too. They're great pans plus the raised numbers look neat.

How much does a Lisser no.6 go for? I haven't watched Canadian pan prices.

Another Lisser...

There is a growing list of Canadian hollow ware manufacturers, many previously unknown. But for Lisser, nothing online or in any old catalogs... Makes one wonder if it wasn't made by one of the other Canadian manufacturers.

Lisser translates from French and means smooth, and clearly they are previous to the common 1960 "made in" ideal. Lisser ghost marks are found on Findlay skillets, and I wonder if Findlay themselves made these skillets, not too many Canadian manufacturers marked their old cast "Made in Canada" or "Canada" but Findlay did.

I don't know anything about Lisser. It is neat. They milled the interior and top of the handle. The bottom and sides were left rough.
