I purchased two BSR #7 skillets locally and threw them in the lye without paying much attention. They both had 1/4 inch of old seasoning on them so I was surprised at what I found a few weeks later. The 7T is 1/4 inch larger, has a different font for the T, is out of round and the handle is offset.

Note the smaller one also has smaller pour spouts. I don't see a photo of the bottom of the smaller. The size difference might be accounted for by an economy of automated mold making. BSR shrunk some pans' dims slightly so two patterns would fit on the same match plate. Double the pans in the same amount of time. Definitely the case on pans marked 8B(7). BSR 7s did shrink 1/4" between the mid-60s and 70s, before being discontinued.
