Chefs skillet

Hello,

I have been told this skillet might be a Wagner. I have found several photos that are identical, until you look at the back of the skillet. My skillet does not have any Wagner logo but it has a Z on the back of the handle.
Photos of other skillets have Wagner markings but do not have a Z on the back of the handle or any other letter or number. Is it possible this is a Wagner? Any history about the lack of Wagner logo and the Z on the handle that I cannot find on assumed identical skillets?

Many thanks,
Rick M

The older version of this, an unmarked Wagner chef skillet, had a regular skillet handle. The Made In USA puts it after the early 1960s; the handle style with the thumbrest and squared off end was seen on Wagner chef skillets and some other pieces 1940s - 1970s. The Z is merely a pattern identifier.
