Picked this up for cheap. No lid

Any idea on manufacturer? The handle shape kind of three me off.

Griswold Iron Mountain handle shape, but no p/n. Genuine Griswold IM CF would say "Chicken Pan" and have p/n 1034, heat ring.

Thanks for the reply Doug.
I didn't think it was an iron mountain with the lack of heat ring.. But not really sure what to think. Maybe an import?

Has a pretty good cooking surface after I cleaned it.

Maybe one of the "no name" varieties made for department stores ?

Probably something like that. I've come across plenty of Wagners and others.. Just never came across one with these chacteristics. So it made me curious. ;)

I have the same pan with lid. The lid has the familiar Griswold drip rings. The consensus was later Wagner or import. My guess is import as it weighs quite a bit more than an IM Chicken Pan

Probably is an import.. Pretty good finishing on it.

Thanks for the info.

I haven't been able to find a decent chicken fryer yet (with lid)

I passed on a BSR fryer with lid.. I'm still half tempted to go get it.. Even though it has a 45 dollar price tag.
