Chrome Krusty Korn

I have one of those in the Junior. I think I polished up the outside with Mother's. Came out nice. BTW, not chrome; Wagner only used nickel.

Doug, I know I didn't exactly get a steal on it but do you think $25 was a fair price? I saw a black iron one that sold on ebay for 65$ but I know people are kind of picky about nickel and if it's chipped that might make it undesirable. This one has been sitting in the same store for over a year now. Kind of makes me wonder?

Nice piece.....I have never seen a Senior Pan in the wild but I have so many corn stick pans I don't look for one either.
Did you cash in your aluminum cans to buy it? I buy my stuff with pocket change that I accumulate on a daily basis. Doesn't seem to cost as much when you do it that way.
Good luck with the clean-up.

I think $25 is OK for a senior in reasonable condition. I gave that for my junior (local, no shipping).

Michael, I've been trigger shy when it comes to corn stick pans ever since I bought the little repro. I see a lot of them but this is the only big one I have come across. That tiny fake Krusty Korn I bought last time also claimed to be a 1318. :chuckle:

Been there...done that. Paid $15 for a Griswold 262 (tea size) and posted it here to have Doug confirm what I already thought "fake". A week later I bought the same piece for $44 this time the real thing and a bit pricy. Several weeks later found the Duo Chrome 262 on eBay for $33.
Funny thing is I spotted a fake 262 in a local shop and informed the seller that I thought it was a fake...She informed me that it said Griswold on it and that was all that mattered. She was asking $110 for it. So much for trying to help someone.

I do wish I had looked through Doug's list of fakes before I started collecting. It would have save me some money and embarrassment. I have spotted a bunch of fakes since that purchase and the sellers were always asking big money for them.
Michael, I have a big jar full of change. Maybe I will roll some of it up and do some more shopping. :-)
